TV OPERATION

WATCHING A TV PROGRAM

TV/VCR

1Turn on the unit

Press the POWER button to turn on the unit.

2Select the channel number

Press the CHANNEL button K or L to select your desired channel number or press the number on the remote control.

Note for using the Number button on the remote control:

¡You must precede single-digit channel numbers with a zero (For example: 02, 03, 04 and so on).

¡When selecting cable channels which are higher than 99, press +100 first, then press the last two digits. (Example: to select channel 125, first press “+100” then press “2” and “5”).

Remember: If the unit is connected to a cable box or satellite box, it must be on CH3 or CH4, then the channel to be viewed must be selected on the cable box or satellite box.

3Adjust sound

Press the VOLUME button X or Y to adjust the volume.

NOTES:

If you press the CHANNEL button K or L in the DVD mode, you can change the TV channels.

Even if you turn off the unit in the DVD mode, when you turn it on again, it will go into the TV/VCR mode.

DEGAUSSING

TV/VCR

Magnetism from nearby appliances and unshielded speaker systems might affect the color of the TV pic- ture.

If this happens, move this unit away from the appli- ance. If the color is still not correct, unplug the power cord, then plug it in again 30 minutes later.

PICTURE CONTROL

TV/VCR

The unit’s picture controls – BRIGHT, CON- TRAST, COLOR, TINT and SHARPNESS – are preset to factory specifications. Although they are usually the best, you may need to make some further adjustments for your individual preference.

NOTES:

Procedures must be followed within 5 seconds or the Picture Control mode will be cancelled.

When setting the Picture Control, the Game mode will be cancelled.

Make sure ...

The unit is turned on.

1Select “PICTURE CONTROL”

Press the PICTURE button on the remote control.

2Select item you want to adjust

Press the Arrow button K or L until desired control is displayed.
