4.7.1Channel Block

If you want to restrict certain channel and program viewing, you can do this by turning on the Parental Control. Selected programs, movies and channels can then be made available only after an authorized password has been entered and accepted by the TV.

When the MENU button is pressed, the On Screen Display (OSD) shows the PICTURE menu page.

Press the button to display the PARENTAL menu page.

The Password must be entered before the TV will continue with Parental settings. The default password set in the factory is 0 0 0 0. If you are going to use the Parental Control feature you should change the password.

Note: Make sure you write down and store the new password in a secure place. The Reset All Settings feature (see page 49) does NOT reset the password.

Press the

button to highlight the Channel

Block selection.

Press the button and a table shows up displaying scanned channels numbers in sequence with a figure of a padlock to the right

hand side. Press the button to select the channel to be locked or unlocked and then press the OK key to execute your choice.
