To control the file playback method

To make a file format priority setting for playing back content items, proceed as follows.

The Network Media Receiver actively attempts to convert files to a playable format. Because high compression will normally be selected, the network load is lower. This setting is recommended when using the Network Media Receiver in a wireless LAN environment.

When files are played in the original format, picture and sound quality will be maintained. However, in a network environment with low bandwidth, picture breakup and other problems may occur.
