The timers

Programme timer – digital only

This feature will set the television to go to a specific channel at a certain time. It can be used to view a particular programme, or by setting the mode to daily or weekly, can be used to view a series of programmes.

1Press MENU and zor xto select the TIMER MENU.

2Press e to select Programme Timers, then press OK to select.

3Press e to select the first programme to be timed, then press OK. The SET TIMER menu will now appear on screen.

4Press f and e to go through the list adding the details of the programme to be timed by using the number buttons and zand xto make selections.

5When all the details have been entered press OK to save the timer.

Auto-start VCR: If your Toshiba media recorder is AV link compatible setting this feature to YES will auto start/stop a recording.

PLEASE NOTE: When a timed programme is about to start, an information screen will appear offering the option of watching or cancelling the programme. The menus and other channels will not be available during the timed programme unless the programme timer is cancelled.

Sleep timer

The television can be set to turn itself off after a

certain time.

1Press MENU and zor xto select the TIMER menu.

2Press e to select the Sleep timer. Use the number buttons to set the required time. For example, to switch the television off in one and a half hours enter 01:30, or press zor xto increase/decrease in steps of 10 minutes.

3Press EXIT to finish.
