To select the timer menu

The Timer is especially useful if you want the TV to turn itself on or off after a selected period of time.

Activation of the Timer is indicated by the green “ On-timer indicator”, on the front of the TV (see page 9).

Press the MENU button, then press the or button to display the TIMER menu.

Press the or button to select the required timer mode (On timer or Sleep timer (Turn off the TV)).

Press the Number buttons (0-9), or button to set the On or Off delay time, e.g. on in 30 minutes and program 3 selected.

Press the EXIT button to exit the menu. When setting the On timer, press the or button to select the On timer Position and enter the program position number you want to watch.

Set the Standby mode by pressing the button on the remote control or on the right of the panel.

Note:

The time display will set by 10 minutes, up to 12 hours 50 minutes.

To activate Gray screen

With the Gray screen function On, the screen will automatically turn gray and the sound will be muted when no signal is being received.

Note:

In the PC input mode (see page 29), the Gray screen is not available.

To use the Auto format (WSS : wide screen signaling )

When the TV receives a true WSS picture and the Auto format is On, it will automatically be displayed in WSS format, irrespective of the TV's previous setting.

This function is only avaiable for PAL and PAL-DVD ( component video ) input signals.
