Blocking programs by ratings

The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) uses a rating system to qualify motion picture content. Television broadcasters employ a rating system to qualify the content of television programs, as well. The MPAA, Youth TV, and TV ratings work with the V-Chip feature and allow you to block programs according to the rating limits you set.

Note:

If you forget your PIN code, press RECALL four times within five seconds from the V-CHIP menu. This allows you to proceed to the BLOCKING menu and resets your PIN code.
