Selecting the gray level of the side panels

Select the gray level of the boundary lines between the side panels and picture in 4:3 mode.

To select the gray level:

1.Press MENU, and then press x or • until the SET UP menu appears.

2.Press y or z to highlight GRAY LEVEL.

1:Dark gray

2:Mid gray

3:Light gray

Adjusting the back lighting feature

If you are in bright environment, you may feel difficulty to watch the screen on your TV. At that time, you may improve the clarity on the screen with adjusting the back lighting feature.

To adjust the back lighting:

1.Press MENU, and then press x or • until the SET UP menu appears.

2.Press y or z to highlight BACK LIGHTING.

The cold cathode fluorescent lamp used for the back light on this TV has longevity. When the brightness of the screen comes down, or the flickers of the screen are caused, or some parts of the screen do not light up, it may reach the end of its life.

When you just buy and start to use this TV, the flickering may cause in the screen. In this case, switch off the TV, then switch on it again to recover the condition.
