You must set the date and time for timer recording.

Preparation:

• Turn ON the TV and select to the corresponding video input.

• Press VCR DVD selector to select the VCR mode. (The VCR mode indicator will light.)

Example: Setting the clock to “8:30 AM” March, 31 (SAT), 2007.

Noise elimination

A Blue back screen can be obtained by selecting the NO NOISE BACKGROUND to “ON”. When the unit is shipped from the factory, the NO NOISE BACKGROUND is set to “ON”.

Note:

While NO NOISE BACKGROUND is off and no signals come into the external input, the screen becomes black and signs such as “LINE1” will not be displayed.

5 Set the day, year and time as in step 4.

6 After setting the clock, date and time starts functioning automatically.

To make corrections any time during the process Press CANCEL repeatedly until the item you want to change blinks, then press SET + or .

Note:

After a power failure or disconnection of the power, the timer settings will be lost. In this case, reset the present time.
