Separation from the mains power network: The controller does not completely separate the an- tenna from the mains power network when it is swit- ched off. In addition, the antenna consumes current in the
To avoid damage to the device:
•Ensure that the voltage details given on the type plate tally completely with those of the local power supply.
•Do not place unprotected fire sources, such as candles, on or adjacent to the appliance.
•Ensure an adequate safety distance to other objects (approx. 10 cm).
•The appliance may only be used under normal indoor conditions, i.e. protected against moisture, dirt, extremes of heat and cold and temperature fluctuations.
•Always pull the plug out of the power socket if you are not using the room antenna for a longer period of time.
•In the event of a heavy storm or a thunderstorm with lightning, equipment connected to a mains power supply could be damaged. Therefore, always unplug the antenna from the mains power supply during a thunderstorm.
