1 Y/Cb/Cr Component Video Output Terminals Ê

Use component video output with televisions or monitors equipped with component video inputs for best picture quality. Whenever the component video output terminal is used, you must set the DVD player’s VIDEO OUT setting to Y/CB/CR (Refer to p. 14).

1 S-Video Output Terminal Ë

You will want to use S-video output with televisions or monitors equipped with an S-video input whenever component video inputs are not available. To activate the S-video output, you must set the DVD player’s VIDEO OUT setting to S-VIDEO (Refer to p. 14).

1 Composite Video Output Terminal Ì

Composite video output is the most commonly used video connection in use today and is supported by most televisions and A/V receivers. Composite video is set to display without user setup.

1 SCART Terminal Í (Euro Model Only)

The SCART terminal can be connected to the TV set equipped with SCART connectors. The audio transmitted on the SCART is stereo sound and the video can be selected among RGB-video, S-video and Composite video.
