This product is intended for use on negative grounded vehicles only. Using it on a positive grounded vehicle may result in fire or malfunction.

When plugging this product into your vehicle’s cigarette lighter, do so with your vehicle’s engine turned on. (Using the power adapter with your vehicle’s engine turned off may drain the vehicle’s battery of all power and the engine may fail to start.)

Be sure to remove the power adapter from the cigarette lighter when turning the vehicle’s engine on or off.

Depending on your vehicle’s make and model, you may not be able to use this product because of the difference in shape of the cigar lighter.

Your power adapter may not work due to a loose electrical contact if there are cigarette ashes inside the cigarette lighter. Clean any ashes or debris from the socket before using.

When using this product to supply power to your DVD player, picture interference may occur if they are in close proximity of each other. In this case, place them about 4 inches (10m) apart.

If static or noise occurs on the car radio during use of this product, place the power adapter sufficiently away from the car radio.
