Viewing an External Signal Source

Use the remote control to switch between viewing signals from connected equipment, such as VCR, DVD, Set-Top Box and the TV source (broadcast or cable)

1Press the MENU ( ) button.

Result: The options available in the Input group are displayed.

2Press the ENTER ( ) button.

Result: The Source List is selected.

3Press the ENTER ( ) button again.

4Press the or button to select signal source, then press the ENTER ( ) button.

When you connect equipment to the TV, you can choose

between the following sets of jacks : Ext., AV1, AV2, Component1 or Component2 on the TV’s rear panel, and AV3 or S-Videoon the TV’s side panel.

You can select these options simply by pressing the SOURCE ( ) button.

5Press the MENU ( ) button.

Result: The options available in the Input group are displayed again.

6Press the or button until the Edit Name is selected. Press the ENTER ( ) button.

7Press the or button to select the external source to be edited. Press the ENTER ( ) button.

Result: The device names available are listed.

VCR - DVD - Cable STB - HD STB - Sat. STB -

AV Receiver - DVD Receiver - Game -

Camcorder - DVD Combo - DHR (DVD HDD

Recorder).

8Select the required device by pressing the or button. Press the ENTER ( ) button to confirm.

If you change the external source while viewing, pictures might take a short period of time to be switched.
