Intel® WiDi connection issue

Unable to establish a WiDi connection.

It is recommended using the laptop within a 3m radius of the product.

You may encounter a connection failure or scrambled screen in a multiple router environment such as an office. Since WiDi is used to handle real-time streaming, you may encounter a scrambled signal in the case of electric interference.

Check if there may be electric interference around the product and relocate the product as far as possible from such a location i.e. a transmission tower, microwave oven or other electromagnetic generating environment.)

WiDi is not displayed in the Source list after initial power on. It takes about 20 seconds to authorize the wireless connection of the external/internal WiFi module. Please wait a moment.

If the problem persists, this is caused by a defective wireless module or the incorrect wiring of the cables between the modules.

A scrambled screen occurs at regular intervals.

The product may be affected by the surrounding radio signals. Do not place objects that can cause electric interference between the product and the PC/laptop computer.

•• If the product is too close to the laptop computer, the WiDi performance may be deteriorated. It is recommended maintaining the recommended distance between them.

•• A microwave oven and vacuum cleaner can cause electric interference with a WiDi signal. Therefore, stop operating these devices when using the WiDi feature.

•• A transmission tower, microwave oven or other electromagnetic generating device can cause a scrambled screen. Keep the product away from such devices as much as possible.
