You can select the type of special sound effect to be used when watching a given broadcast.

1Press the MENU ( ) button.

Result: The main menu is displayed.

2Press the or button to select Sound.

Result: The options available in the Sound group are displayed.

3Press the ENTER ( ) button. Result: Mode is selected.

4Press the ENTER ( ) button again.

5Select the required option by pressing the or button. Result: The following modes are available:

Standard : Standard settings suitable for all programmes

Music : Enhances playback of music

Movie : Emphasizes bass tones

Speech : Emphasizes crisp, clear dialogue

Custom : Recalls your personalized

settings (see page 39)

6Press the ENTER ( ) button to confirm your choice.

You can select these options by simply pressing the

S.MODE ( : Sound Mode) button on the remote control.
