You can select the type of special sound effect to be used when watching a given broadcast.

1Press the MENU ( ) button.

Result: The main menu is displayed.

2Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Sound.

Result: The options available in the Sound group are displayed.

3Press the ENTER ( ) button. Result: Mode is selected.

4Press the ENTER ( ) button again.

5Select the required option by pressing the ▲ or ▼ button. Result: The following modes are available:

◆Standard : Standard settings suitable for all programmes

◆Music : Enhances playback of music

◆Movie : Emphasizes bass tones

◆Speech : Emphasizes crisp, clear dialogue

◆Custom : Recalls your personalized

settings (see page 39)

6Press the ENTER ( ) button to confirm your choice.
