Activating the Child Lock

This feature allows you to prevent unauthorized users, such as children, from watching unsuitable programmes by muting out video and audio. Child Lock cannot be released using the buttons on the lower-right panel. Only the remote control can release the Child Lock setting, so keep the remote control away from children.

This function does not work in PC mode.

1Press the MENU button.

Result: The main menu is displayed.

2Press the or button to select Setup. Press the ENTER button.

Result: The options available in the Setup group are displayed.

3Press the or button to select Child Lock. Press the ENTER button.

Result: The options available in the Child Lock group are displayed.

4Press the ENTER button again. Result: The Child Lock is selected.

5Press the or button to select On. Press the ENTER button.

6Press the or button to select Programme. Press the ENTER button.

7Press the or button to select the channels to lock. Press the ENTER button.

8Press the or button to select Lock. Press the ENTER button.

9Press the or button to select Locked to lock the channels. Press the ENTER button.

10Repeat steps 6 and 9 for each channel to be locked or unlocked.

11Press the EXIT button to return to normal viewing.
