Connecting the Set-Top Box to a TV Set

Digital TV

1 Connect an antenna cable to the ANT/ CABLE IN jack on your Set-Top Box.

2 Connect the Video Cables.

YPBPR format: Connect a Component video cable between the DTV OUT (COMPONENT) jacks on your Set-Top Box and the DTV INPUT jacks on the digital TV.

HDMI format: Connect a HDMI cable between the HDMI OUT jack on your Set-Top Box and the HDMI INPUT jack on the digital TV.

3Connect the Audio Cables.

Connect an audio cable between the L/R AUDIO OUT jacks on your Set-Top Box and L/R AUDIO IN jacks on the digital TV.

NOTES

You must set to Y, PB, PR with the DTV OUT SELECT switch on the rear of your Set-Top Box.

The On-Screen Display (OSD) menus are supported for DTV OUT (COMPONENT) and HDMI only.

The TV set must be “digital compatible” (i.e., it must have appropriate audio and digital videoterminals).
