How to replace the lamp unit

Required tool: Manual Phillips screwdriver, gloves.

Optional tool: 5/32Ó or 4mm Allen wrench.

1. Turn off the TV and unplug the power cord.

WARNING: Eye damage may result from

directly viewing the light produced by this lamp. Always turn off the TV and unplug the power cord before opening the lamp unit door.

2. STOP! Allow the lamp to cool for at least one (1) hour before replacing it.

CAUTION: HOT SURFACE

The temperature of the lamp immediately

after use exceeds 392˚F (200˚C). Touching the lamp before it has cooled will result in severe burns. ALLOW THE LAMP TO COOL FOR AT LEAST ONE (1) HOUR BEFORE REPLACING IT.

3. On the lamp unit door on the side of the TV, loosen the thumb screw by hand or by using a 5/32Ó or 4mm Allen wrench, and then remove the lamp unit door.

excessive ultraviolet radiation. Never defeat its purpose or attempt to service without removing the lamp unit door completely. Failure to follow this WARNING may result in death or serious injury.

4. Using a manual Phillips screwdriver, loosen two screws on the lamp unit.
