Key Guide

	Color Keys
MORE	Expands a search.
MARK	Places a bookmark.
SEARCH	Goes to the Word search
	screen.
NOTE	Displays a footnote.

	Function Keys
	Turns the unit on or off.
SAY	Speaks a Devotional verse.
HELP	Displays a help message.
MENU	Displays the main menus.
ENTER	Enters a search request, se-
	lects an item, or begins a high-
	light in text.
CLEAR	Goes to the Reference search
	screen.
	In text, shows book, chapter
	and verse.

*At a Search screen, types a ✳ to stand for one or more letters in a word.

BACK	Backs up, erases a letter, or
	turns off the highlight in text.

CAP Shifts to type capital letters and punctuation marks.

CARD Exits the book you were read- ing.

Direction Keys

Move in the indicated direction.

SPACE At menus and text, pages down. At a search screen, types a space.

Combination Keys*

fn + Transfers a word(s) between CARD books.

fn + Pages up or down. or

CAP + At a menu, goes to the first or

or last item. In Bible text, goes to the start or end of the next or previous chapter.

fn + Displays the next or previ-

or ous verse.

*Hold the first key while pressing the second.
