Choosing a Digital Sound Format

Digital sound can be output from the rear-panel connectors on your TV. The digital sound is output fromconnectors labeled “Optical” and “Coaxial”. After connecting a digital-audio component, you must specify the transmission format (Dolby or PCM, as appropriate to your digital audio component. See your component’s ower’s manual for further details. ).
