Timer Recording

To Pause the Recording

1Press [PLAY/PAUSE] to pause the disc during recording.

2To continue recording in DVD mode, press [PLAY/PAUSE] or [REC (●)].

To quit One Touch Recording, press and hold [STOP] for 5 seconds.

The HDD/DVD Recorder will automatically power off when One Touch Recording ends.

You cannot record on the HDD and DVD at the same time.

Pressing [PLAY/PAUSE] during HDD recording does not act as record pause but time shifting still. Recording is still under way and other time shifting operation (FF, REW, etc) works properly.

Playing under recording

1Press [MENU] to play DVD or HDD during recording. Then Media Browser appears.

2In Media Browser, Select and play the media you want to view among HDD and DVD.

You can’t play a DVD disc during DVD recording.

The maximum number of titles that can be recorded on the HDD is 254.

Using the HDD allows you to record a maximum of 10 hours continuously.

Timer Recording using Manual Set Record Screen

The Timer Recording function allows you to record up to 8 programs within a period of one month.

1Insert recordable media such as DVD±R, DVD±RW if you are recording to DVD.

2Press [TIMER].

The ‘Select Record Method’ menu appears.

Enter-Edit Setup-Exit Move É

3 Select ‘Manual edit timer’ with [É/ ] and confirm with [ENTER].

The ‘Timer Recording’ menu appears.

Use [É ] to move to a timer recording slot, and press [ENTER] to modify it.

If you did not set the clock on the HDD/DVD Recorder, you must do so before programming a timer recording.

Media - Choose desired media (DVD or HDD) using [É ].

PR No. – Choose the desired channel, or one of the external inputs from which to record.

Date – Choose a date up to 1 month in advance, or select a daily or weekly program.

Start Time – Set the recording start time.

End Time – Set the recording end time.

Mode – Choose a Record mode. HQ, SP, SLP or EP

Repeat-Choose frequency of the recording. Once, Daily, Weekly, Weekday.
