Playing Karaoke discs

IMPORTANT!

You have to turn on your TV and set to the correct Video In channel. (See page 15 ‘Finding your viewing channel’).

General Operation

AConnect a microphone (not supplied) to 麦克风 (Mic) on the front panel of the DVD player.

BLoad a karaoke disc and press 播放/暂停 u ( PLAY/PAUSE).

CPress 卡拉 OK (KARAOKE) repeatedly to access Karaoke menu.

‘MIC On/Off’ appears on the TV screen.

Use W X to turn ‘On’ or ‘Off’ the microphone.

DAdjust the microphone volume up or down using 水平 X (MIC LEVEL) button on the side panel of the DVD player.

Tip:

– Before connecting the microphone, set the microphone volume to the minumum level to prevent howling.

Vocal

You can fade out the original vocal from a karaoke disc.

Press 人声 (VOCAL) repeatedly to choose different audio modes.

Tip:

This function and on-screen display depends on the availability of the disc.

Karaoke

Press 卡拉 OK (KARAOKE) repeatedly to toggle between ‘MIC’, ‘Vol’, ‘Echo’ or ‘Key’.

AWhen ‘MIC’ is selected, use W X to set ‘Mic On/Off’.

BWhen ‘Vol’ is selected, use W X to adjust the vocal value between 0 and 20.

CWhen ‘Echo’ is selected, use W X to adjust the echo level between 0 and 20.

DWhen ‘Key’ is selected, use W X to adjust the pitch value between -16 and 16.

This function allows you to adjust the key tone level to match your vocal.
