Setup Menu

Video Out Setup

There are items included in VIDEO OUT PAGE menu as TV DISPLAY, VIDEO OUTPUT, TV TYPE VIDEO MODE, BRIGHTNESS,

CONTRAST, SATURATION.

1Press STOP twice.

2Press SYSTEM MENU to enter its menu.

3Highlight the VIDEO OUTPUT SETUP item by pressing the 34 keys.

4Press OK.

Video output

In this menu, you can select the video output for high quality picture.

1Press the 34 keys to highlight VIDEO OUTPUT in the VIDEO OUTPUT SETUP menu.

2Press the OK key to open its submenu.

3Press the 2 key to highlight the item of the submenu.

4Press the 34 keys to choose an item.

S-VIDEO:Video signals will send an output from the S-VIDEO on the rear panel of the DVD player.

YCBCR: If your TV set is equiped with Y/CB/ CR input, you can choose for high quality picture.

5Press OK.

6Press the 1 key to return to the VIDEO OUTPUT SETUP menu.

NOTE: Any selection will not influence the signal output of composite video.

TV display

Select the aspect ratio of the TV to be connected.

16:9 when you connect a wide-screen TV to the DVD player.

4:3 LETTER BOX when you connect a normal TV to the DVD player. Displays a wide picture with bands displayed on the upper and lower portions of the TV screen.

4:3 PAN SCAN when you connect a normal TV to the DVD player. Displays the wide picture on the whole TV screen with a portion automatically cut off.

Setup the item as follows,

1Press the 34 keys to highlight the TV DISPLAY item in the GENERAL SETUP menu.

2Press the OK key.

3Enter its submenu by pressing the 2 key.

4Move the cursor by pressing the 34 keys to highlight the selected item.

5Press OK.

6Press the 1 key to return to the VIDEO OUTPUT SETUP menu.

TV type

Before viewing the DVD or VCD, ensure that the

PAL or NTSC setting of the system matches your TV set.

1Press the 34 keys to highlight

TV TYPE in the GENERAL

SETUP menu.

2Press OK.

3Enter its submenu by pressing the 2 key.

4Move the cursor by pressing the 34 keys to highlight the requisite item.

5Press OK.

6Press the 1 key to return to the VIDEO OUTPUT SETUP menu.

NOTE: Choosing NTSC item indicates that the player will output by NTSC system, Similarly, you can sacquire PAL system by choosing the PAL item. And the item MULTI means video output is depending on the format of DVD or VCD discs.
