Closed Caption Closed captions are hidden data in the video signal on some discs. (eg. sound effects such as “phone ringing” and “footsteps.” It is invisible without a special decoder. Before you select this function, ensure that the disc contains closed captions information and your TV also has this function.

No aspect ratio adjustment is made when this option is selected.

Note: The { Wide Screen Format } feature will be disabled if your HDMI

TV has been preset to { 480p } or { 576p } settings.
