MPAA Rating Settings

You can block TV channel viewing according to the Motion Picture of Association ratings. To do so, follow these steps.

4 Press ▲ or ▼ to select MPAA RATING.

Then, press ENTER.

5 Press ▲ or ▼ to select the level at which you want to block viewing. Then, press ENTER to select BLOCK or VIEW.

When you Block a category, higher ratings turn to BLOCK automatically. Lower ratings turn to VIEW. When you set G to VIEW or BLOCK, all ratings turn to VIEW or BLOCK automatically.

MPAA Rating Explanations

•G - General Audience

•PG - Parental Guidance suggested.

•PG-13 - Unsuitable for children under 13

•R - Restricted; under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian

•NC-17 - No one under 17 admitted

•X - Mature audience only

6 Press SET-UP to save your settings and remove the menu.

Helpful Hints

•To disable all the MPAA Ratings, set G to VIEW.

•The V-CHIP settings will be retained after a power failure (except the access code reverts to 0000).
