IMPORTANT!

Before connecting the AC power cord to the wall outlet, ensure that all other connections have been made.

Never make or change any connections with the power switched on.

The type plate is located at the rear of the system.

2AUDIO IN

For connecting analog (Left/Right) audio signals from external sources to the unit.

VCR – connect to Video Cassette Recorder AUDIO OUT jack

TV – connect to Television AUDIO OUT jack CDR – connect to CD Recorder AUDIO OUT jack

1ANTENNA

FM Antenna

For FM reception, connect the FM antenna to the FM jack. Move the antenna in various directions until the clearest signal is received.

AM Loop Antenna

For AM reception, connect the AM loop antenna to the AM jack. Position the loop antenna to receive the clearest sound.

Fully insert the stripped portion of the antenna into the jacks as shown.

Note:

– Position the antenna as far as possible from a TV,VCR or other radiation source.

3VIDEO IN

For connecting to the corresponding VIDEO OUT jack on a VCR, TV or CDR.

4DIGITAL OUT (in DVD/CD mode only)

Digital Coaxial Output RCA Jack

For connecting to external equipment that has a digital coaxial in jack.

Digital Optical Output Socket

For connecting to external equipment that has a digital optical in jack.

5S-VIDEO OUT

For connecting to the S-VIDEO IN jack on the TV using an optional S-Video cable.

6VIDEO OUT

For connecting to external equipment with video in jacks for viewing or recording.

REC – connect to VCR or other recording device MON– connect to TV or Monitor
