Pixel Plus

Pixel Plus is a digital picture processing technology that increases the number of lines and the number of pixels. The result is razor sharp pictures with incredible detail and depth, every time from any source.

Progressive Scan

Progressive Scan doubles the vertical resolution of the image resulting in a noticeably sharper picture. Instead of sending a field comprising the odd lines to the screen first,

followed by the field with the even lines, both fields are written at one time. A full image is created instantaneously, using the maximum resolution. At such a speed, your eye perceives a sharper picture with no line structure.

3D Combfilter

The 3D comb filter separates brightness and color signals better in 3D domain to eliminate cross-color, cross-luminance and dot-crawl distortion - all of which detract from your viewing pleasure. The 3D digital comb filter performs field-by-field comparisons of the television image to accurately separate the color from the black-and-white information and remove both horizontally and vertically hanging dots, as well as dot crawl. The result is a razor sharp image.

Active Control

Active Control ensure that noise and sharpness improvements are continuously made at a rate of 60 times per second. By continually adjusting picture setting over 3,000 times per minute, Active Control Plus ensures that the viewing experience is optimized.

Incredible Surround™

Incredible Surround is an audio technology from Philips that dramatically magnifies the sound field to immerse you in the audio. Using state-of-the-art electronic phase shifting, Incredible Surround mixes sounds from left and right in such a way that it expands the virtual distance between the two speakers. This wider spread greatly enhances the stereo effect and creates a more natural sound dimension. Incredible Surround allows you to experience total surround with greater depth and width of sound, without the use of additional speakers.

Smart Picture and Smart Sound Philips preset modes for Smart Picture and Smart Sound provide you with direct access via a single key on the remote control. You can select optimized picture and sound settings for the various picture and sound modes.

Component Video Input (YPbPr) Component Video is the highest quality interconnection standard for analog video. It is sharper than S-video and composite video.
