HOW TO SET THE TV FOR STEREO PROGRAMS
our TV can detect a stereo sig-
Ynal and will set itself automat-
ically so the stereo sound can be
heard. However, there may be
occasions when you might want to
set the TV to mono. The following
steps describe how to change the
SOUND control:
BEGIN
Press the MENU button on		TREBLE BOOST				ON
the remote to show the onscreen		BASS BOOST				ON
menu.
		SOUND			MONO		TREBLE BOOST	ON
Press the CURSOR UP ▲ or		AVL				ON	BASS BOOST	ON
CURSOR DOWN ▼ button		INPUT				▶	SOUND	STEREO
until the word SOUND is high-
							AVL	ON
lighted.
							INPUT	▶
Press the CURSOR RIGHT
▶ or CURSOR LEFT ◀ but-					POWER
tons to choose between STEREO
or MONO.		CC	CLOCK		SLEEP
With STEREO selected, the tele-		1		2	3
vision will reproduce any stereo		4	5		6
broadcast signal it receives.

Please note that you can force a	1					2
stereo broadcast signal to MONO,				0

but you cannot force a mono					STATUS

Remember: If stereo is			SOUND	PICTURE
not present on a selected
show and the TV is placed in the
STEREO mode, the sound com-
ing from the set will remain
monaural (mono).
