6 Install channels

The rst time you set up yourTV, you are prompted to select a menu language and to installTV and digital radio channels (if available). This chapter provides instructions on how to re-install and ne tune channels.

Automatically install channels

This section describes how to search and store channels automatically.

1Press MENU.

2Select [Setup] > [Installation] > [Channel install.] > [Channel assistant].

3Press OK.

4Follow the on-screen instructions to install channels.

Manually install channels

This section describes how to search and store analogueTV channels manually.

Step 1 Select your system

Note

Skip this step if your system settings are correct.

1Press MENU.

2Press to select[Setup] > [Installation]

>[Channel install.] > [Manual install]. » The [Manual install] menu appears.

3Press to select [Colour system], then press to enter.

4Select your system, then press OK to con rm.

5Repeat the previous steps for [Sound system].

6Press MENU to exit.

Step 2 Search and store new TV channels

1Press MENU.

2Press to select [Setup] > [Installation] > [Channel install.] >

[Manual install].

» The [Manual install] menu appears.

3Press to select [Search], then press to enter.

4Press Numeric buttons to manually enter the three-digit frequency.

5Press OK to begin search.

»If a channel is unavailable at the selected frequency, the system searches for the next available channel.

6Press BACK when the new channel is found.

7Press to select [Store new channel] to store the new channel under a new channel number.

8Press to enter [Store new channel].

9Select [OK], then press OK to store the new channel.

10 Press MENU to exit.

Step 3 Fine-tune analogue channels

1Press MENU.

2Press to select [Setup] > [Installation] > [Channel install.] >

[Manual install].

» The [Manual install] menu appears.

3Press to select [Fine-tune], then press

to enter.

4Press to adjust frequency.

5Press OK to con rm.

6Press to select [Store curr. chan.] to store the channel number.

7Press to enter [Store curr. chan.].

8Select [OK], then press OK to store current channel.

9Press MENU to exit.
