General settings (underlined options are the factory default settings)

Screen Saver

The screen saver prevents damage to the TV screen by avoiding

 

exposure to a static image for too long.

Switches to TV screen saver mode when

 

 

 

playback has been stopped or paused for

 

 

 

more than 15 minutes.

Turns off the screen saver function.

 

 

Country

Select the country of your area for auto channel tuning.

 

(See section “Step 3: Installation and Setup - Select the country of

 

your residence”).

 

Video Output Selection

Select the type of video output that matches the video connection between this recorder and your TV.

{SCART RGB } – For SCART connection.

{YUV Interlaced } – For component video connection.

{YUV Progressive } – For component video connection to progressive scan TV.

Note: Video output setting is not required for S-Video or Composite (CVBS) video connection.

Restore Factory Restore all the settings of this recorder, except for the PIN code.

SettingsRestore Factory Settings can only be changed when there is no disc in the disc tray.
