•Insert six #8 x 3/4" screws into the upper post and tighten.

•Fit the latch halves to the end of the lower post.

•Insert three #6 x 1/2" screws into the latch halves to join all three parts together. Tighten the screws.

• Insert the upper post into the lower post.

Grip Halves

•Fit the grip halves to the post assembly, over the latch halves.

•Insert three #6 x 1/2" screws into the grip halves to join all three parts together. Tighten the screws.
