Charging the Battery

Place the parent unit on its charger pod to charge the battery. When charging, the red light on the charger will light steadily. The Low Battery light will be turned off.

Note:

The Parent Unit must never be operated on the charger pod without batteries.

The parent unit can be used on or off the charger pod. When on charger pod, the batteries will be recharged at the same time. However, the time it takes to charge the batteries to full will be longer when the unit is charged and used at the same time.

Rechargeable batteries in the Parent unit give up to 12 hours continuous usage. Please note however, that new batteries do not reach full capacity until they have been in normal use for several days.

Running rechargeable batteries right down at least once a week will help them last as long as possible. The charge capacity of rechargeable batteries will reduce with time as they age, so reducing the performance time of the parent unit. Eventually they will need to be replaced.

Restore to Default Setting

You can return the baby and parent units to factory default settings. The Parent and Baby units are reset individually.

•Press [ ] key to switch the unit off.

•Press and hold [ ] key again to switch the unit on.

•While the unit is switching on, press and hold [ ] key on the parent unit or the [ – ] key on the baby unit until you hear a beep. The unit will restore all the original factory settings.

Note:

If [ ] or [ – ] is not pressed within 4 seconds, the unit returns to standby mode.

You will need to restore factory default setting on the Baby Unit or on the Parent Unit individually to restore both units to original factory settings.
