Invacare products are specifically designed and manufactured for use in conjunction with Invacare accessories. Accessories designed by other manufacturers have not been tested by Invacare and are not recommended for use with Invacare products.
WARNING
ALWAYS wear safety glasses and use extreme caution when removing the packing pin from the column assembly of the overbed table. The column assembly is spring loaded and will extend suddenly when the packing pin is removed. Serious injury or damage can occur.
After any adjustments, repair or service and before use, make sure that all attaching component parts are secure.
3 Assembling the Overbed Table
For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 1.
1.Position the column assembly on the base.
2.Assemble the column assembly to the base with the two locknuts provided and tighten securely.
3.Using extreme caution, push down on the outer column and remove the packing pin from the column assembly as shown in Detail “A”.
4.Allow the column assembly to expand slowly.
5.Position the table top on the column assembly and tighten securely with the six Phillips® screws provided.

4 Using the Overbed Table
For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 2.
1.Lift up on the handle on the side of the overbed table and adjust the overbed table to the desired height.
2.When the table is at the desired height, release the handle.
