7 Tighten the lap portion of the vehicle lap and shoulder belt by pulling on the shoulder belt.
IMPORTANT NOTES!
•Make sure the lap portion of the vehicle lap and shoulder belt is positioned low on your child’s lap. If it is positioned high on your child’s abdomen, your child may suffer an internal injury in a sudden stop or crash.
•You do not need to use a locking clip with this booster car seat. A locking clip may be required with other car seats that need to be secured to a vehicle seat using the vehicle’s lap and shoulder belt. These car seats usually are equipped with a belt system that restrains a child.
