8. WHEELS

WHEELS: Before first use, and periodically thereafter, test wheels by pulling on them. Failure to secure wheels may result in injury to your child. If wheel pulls off, push wheel onto axle again until click is heard. If no click is heard, check position of metal clip. The U-shaped, spring

loaded metal clip on the hub of the wheel holds the wheel in place an Figure 1 should always be in the position shown unless you are purposely trying

to remove the wheel. (figure 1) Before first use inflate tire to 35 psi.

NOTE: LOW AIR PRESSURE CAN CAUSE THE STROLLER TO 'LEAN" IN ONE DIRECTION OR THE OTHER.

TO REMOVE THE WHEEL: Push in metal clip and pull wheel off.

9. TIRES

TIRES: Tires should be inflated to 35 psi (pounds per square inch) with compressed air. Low pressure could cause problems with the kickstand not being positioned correctly. Low pressure can also cause stability problems, especially with heavier children.

10. AIR PUMP

The air pump is located in the bottom basket of the Urban Advantage. It has its own special carrying pocket.

AIR PUMP: To operate tire pump, pull out the connecting hose from one end and screw it into the other end of the pump. The hand pump will have difficulty reaching 35-40 psi, but it is provided for inflation during assembly and to assist when compressed air is not available.

11. WRIST STRAP

The wrist strap helps you gain control over your stroller. Secure the wrist strap to the top handle and make sure wrist strap is around your wrist whenever your child is in the stroller.
