4 Insert a flat-bladed screwdriver, etc., into the "Memory Stick Duo" slot and lift the cover up in the direction of the arrow.

Shift the cover while lifting it up to avoid the tab.

S Take the cover off and remove the battery

with the bottom surface of the camera facing down.
