Press FUNCTION/FM MODE to switch between the Stereo mode and Mono mode.

Stereo

•FM broadcasts of stereo signal are received in stereo. The STEREO indicator lights up in the display.

Mono

•When the FM stereo signals are week, select this mode to compensate for them. Reception will now be monaural, increasing signal quality and reducing unwanted noise.

Preset tuning 1

The unit can preset station frequencies selected by Automatic or Manual tuning. Up to 30 FM/AM stations and 10 DAB stations can be stored. With this function, you can select any desired station by pressing the corresponding preset station number.

■Preset stations manually (FM/AM/DAB)

1Press BAND to select FM, AM or DAB reception band.

2Tune into the station you want to store.

3Press PROGRAM/MEMORY.

“CH01” or “01” flashes on the display.

4Rotate MULTI JOG within four seconds after flashing started to select a desired preset number.

You can also use the number buttons on the remote control.

•For example, to select the preset number 32, first press the TUNER button, then press ‘3’ and ‘2’.

•To select numbers less than 10, press ‘0’ and then the number. For example, to select number 6, press ‘0’ and ‘6’. (A simpler option is to press just the number ‘6’, then wait a few seconds.)

5Press PROGRAM/MEMORY within four seconds.

If you do not press PROGRAM/MEMORY within four seconds after selecting the channel, the selection is canceled.

6Repeat steps 1 to 5 until all desired stations are preset.
