1 Introduction

Read this section to learn about the features and functions of the camcorder. This chapter also covers system requirements, package contents, and description of the hardware components.

1.1 System requirements

The camcorder requires a PC with the following specifications:

Operating System : Windows XP SP2 32/64bit, Vista 32/64bit and Windows7 32/64bit

CPU: Intel/AMD Dual-Core or above

Memory: At least 1GB or above

Graphic Card: DirectX 9 is must, DirectX 10 is recommendation

Interface: Standard USB 1.1 Port or Higher

Hard Disk: At least 2GB of Available Disk Space

zNote:

A USB 1.1 port may enable you to transfer files to and from your host PC, but transfer speeds may be much faster with a USB 2.0 port.
