Format Memory

Formatting the memory card / internal memory will erase all stored data; the data cannot be restored. Make sure you backup important photos to a PC before you reformat.

Default Settings

After you select the Reset option, all the settings will be restored to the factory default values, and the on screen display language will be English.

Firmware Update

Do not use this function if unless instructed by the manufacturer. Inappropriate operation might cause damage to the camera. When necessary, firmware must be uploaded from the SD card (You are not allowed to perform this option if the correct firmware update program is not saved on SD card.)

To safeguard your camera from damages when the computer is disconnected, we recommend you to use new batteries during a firmware update operation.)

File Copy

This feature allows you to copy the files in the internal memory to the SD card; the files in the internal memory will not be deleted, only copied.
