Before connecting or disconnecting the ground cord, make sure the LA-2's AC plug is not con- nected to a wall outlet.

With an outlet having a ground terminal, connect the ground cord securely to the ground terminal.

To connect the ground cord to a metalic water tap (a plastic tap cannot be used), securely wind the cord arou nd the tap.

Never connect the ground cord to a gas pipe.
