Night Portrait Assist

(night portrait assist) mode is used for taking portrait shots at night, when it provides a natural balance be- tween the main subject and the background. Pictures taken at slow shutter speeds are adjusted to reduce noise, slightly increasing processing time; to prevent blurring, mount the camera on a tripod or rest it on a flat, stable surface.
