Taking pictures and videos

Setting	Icon	Options
Date Stamp		Turn the Date Stamp on or off, or change
(Still modes)		the date stamp format.
Imprint the date on pictures.
This setting remains until
you change it.
Video Date Display		Choose None, or choose a date and time
(Video mode)		format.
Display capture date and time
before the video starts.
This setting remains until
you change it.
Language		See page 5.
Display the camera screen text
in different languages.
This setting remains until
you change it.
Format		Memory Card—deletes everything on the
Format camera memory.		card; formats the card.
CAUTION:		Cancel—exits without making a change.
		Internal Memory—deletes everything in
Formatting deletes		internal memory including email addresses,
all pictures and		album names, and Favorites: formats the
videos, including		internal memory.
