Protecting Pictures From Deletion

1Press the Review button, then locate the picture to protect.

2Press the Menu button.

3Highlight Protect , then press the OK button.

The Protect icon appears with the protected picture whenever it is displayed in the status bar. The picture cannot be deleted. (Formatting deletes even protected pictures, see page 43).

4To remove protection, press the OK button again.

5Press the Menu button to turn off the menu.

Running a Slide Show

Use the Slide Show to display your pictures on the LCD in the order in which you took them. To run a slide show on a television or other external device, see page 31.

Starting the Slide Show

1Press the Review button, then press the Menu button.

2Highlight Slide Show , then press the OK button.

3Highlight Begin Show, then press the OK button.

The pictures are each displayed once in the order in which you took them. Then the camera returns to the Menu screen. See Turning On Loop, page 30, for continual display.
