Status

Cause

Ready light glows

Shutter button is pressed halfway down. Focus and exposure are set.

Ready light blinks

Picture is being processed and saved to the camera.

Pictures are being transferred to computer; camera is connected.

 

 

 

 

Camera firmware upgrade is in process.

 

 

Ready light glows

Camera is in Favorites mode.

Ready light blinks

Flash is not charged. Wait. Resume picture taking when the light stops

Auto-exposure or auto-focus are not locked. Release the Shutter

 

button and recompose the picture.

 

 

Ready light blinks red

Battery is low or exhausted. Recharge the battery (page 1).

Camera’s internal memory or card is full.

camera (page 33), switch image storage locations (page 25), or insert

Card is read-only. Change image storage location to internal memory

 

(page 25), or use a different card.

 

 

 

Memory card speed is slow. Card cannot be used to take videos.
