Self-timer function allows you to take pictures 3 or 10 sec after you press the shutter release button all the way down.

1 Set the duration of self-timer. See page 40.

Press	on the four-way button to start
2 self-timer function and		/	icon appears

on the LCD monitor.

4 After locking the focus and pressing the shutter release button all the way down, the self-timer lamp blinks slowly first and then quickly for 3 or 10 sec.

5 The camera takes the picture automatically.

Note: The self-timer function goes back to default (Off) after taking a picture.
