will appear on the LCD screen. This means the flash function has been " "Always On" (manual flash).
3.Press FLASH/SET or 
repeatedly. Select the icon 
shown on the LCD screen. This will activate the automatic flash.
4.Press FLASH/SET or 
until the flash icon 
disappears. This will turn off the flash function.
NOTE: When the flash is set to either” Always On” or “Automatic” the flash indicator light will turn GREEN. When you take a photo the flash indicator light will turn RED. You must wait until the light turns back to GREEN before you can take another photo.
The Self-Timer
You can include yourself in the photo by using this feature to delay the time between your pressing the shutter and when the photo is actually taken. It is recommended that you use a tripod when you use the self timer.
1.Press the POWER/MENU button 
repeatedly to select the icon 
shown on the LCD screen.
2.Make sure to press the shutter within 5 seconds. The timer lasts approximately 10 seconds before the photo is taken.
