Load the Micro SD card

»For ﬁrst-time users, a menu for OSD language selection is displayed (See ‘Get started - Set the OSD language’).

»The camcorder switches to viewﬁnder mode.

To turn off the camcorder:

•Press and hold.

»The backlight on the display panel turns off.

Tip

•To save energy, the camcorder turns off automatically after being idle for 3 minutes.

1Unlock the fastener on the protective cover.

2Flip open the protective cover.

3Insert a Micro SD card (not supplied) into the micro SD socket.

•Make sure that the the Micro SD card is not write-protected.

•Make sure that the metal contact of the card faces up.

4Close the protective cover securely.

When you turn on the camcorder for the ﬁrst time, a menu for OSD language selection is displayed.

1Press +/- to select a language.

2Press to conﬁrm.

»A welcome message is displayed brieﬂy.

»An inquiry box for date and time setting is displayed.

3Press to highlight [Yes].

» A date setting menu is displayed.

4Press / to select the day, month and year ﬁelds successively.

5Press +/- to change the value of each ﬁeld.

6Press to conﬁrm the date setting. » A time setting menu is displayed.

7Press / to select the hour and minute ﬁelds successively.

8Press +/- to change the value of each ﬁeld.
