Auto LCD Off

To reduce power consumption, the camcorder automatically dims the brightness of the LCD screen if the camcorder is idle for a period of time.

1.Press the MENU button.

2.Touch the "Settings " € “Auto LCD Off.”

Touch the desired submenu item.

3.To exit the menu, touch the Return ( ) tab.

Off : Disables the function.

On : When the camcorder is idle for more than 2 minutes in the STBY mode, or for more than 5 minutes when recording a video, the power saving mode starts by dimming the LCD screen.

For example, LCD screen is automatically darkened.

If the “Auto LCD Off” function is enabled and the LCD screen dims, you can press any button or touch the LCD screen on the camcorder to return the LCD screen’s brightness to normal.

Auto LCD Off is temporarily disabled in the following cases:

-If you have connected the built-in USB plug of the camcorder to a PC.

-While the Demo function is in operation.
