✤ The DIS function works in CAMERA mode only.	✤
✤ DIS (Digital Image Stabilizer) is a function that compensates for any	✤ DIS
shaking or hand movement while holding the camcorder (within
reasonable limits).	✤
✤ It provides more stable pictures when:	■
■ Recording with the zoom	■
■ Recording a small object close-up	■
■ Recording and walking at the same time	■

■Recording through the window of a vehicle

1.	Set the camcorder to CAMERA mode.
					CAM MODE
		INITIAL					2.
2.	Press the MENU button.	CAMERA				PROGRAM AE			■
		A/V				WHT. BALANCE
	■ The menu list will appear.	MEMORY				D.ZOOM
		VIEWER				DIS
3. Turn the MENU DIAL highlight to CAMERA and						DSE SELECT		3.
	press the ENTER button.								■
	■ The sub menu list will appear.
4.	Turn the MENU DIAL to activate the DIS function,						4.
					CAM MODE
	press the ENTER button.		CAMERA SET						■ DIS
	■ The DIS menu is changed to ON.			PROGRAM AE

	■ If you do not want to use the DIS function,			D.ZOOM
				DIS
	set the DIS menu to OFF.			DSE SELECT

5. To exit, press the MENU button.

■ It is recommended that you deactivate the shake compensation function

when using a tripod.

■If you use the DIS function, the picture quality may deteriorate.
