Setting up the hardware

Environment 4: Network cable is connected to a LAN, shared in a residential complex

Read the notes on page 22, then proceed as follows:

1Connect the Network Media Receiver to a router device with a built-in network switch* (1), using the network cable (2).

2Connect the Ethernet jack on each VAIO computer to the jack(s) on the router device, using additional network cables* (3).

3Connect the WAN jack on the router device to the LAN jack (residential complex) (4).
