How to Use

Definitions in Configuration

Appendix

There are different video quality settings for stream1 and stream2.

Mode: If MPEG-4 is selected, streaming is in RTSP protocol. If JPEG is selected, streaming is in server push mode.

Frame size: In either the MPEG-4 mode or the JPEG mode, the three options are "176x144", "320x240" and "640x480".

MPEG-4 mode has three dependent parameters for video performance adjustment. “Maximum frame rate”Limits the maximum refresh frame rate which can be combined with the“Video quality”to optimize bandwidth utilization and video quality.

“Intra frame period”The interval of intra frame.

“Video quality”settings are:

“Constant bit rate”Fixes the bandwidth utilization regardless of the video quality. “Fixed quality”Select the desired video quality.

Note: The video quality may be poor due to the sending of the maximum frame rate within the limited bandwidth when images are moving rapidly. Consequently, to ensure detailed video quality (quantization rate) regardless of the network, it will utilize more bandwidth to send the maximum frames when images change drastically.

JPEG mode is limited to two parameters“Maximum frame rate”and“Video quality”to adjust the video performance.
